7 Tips for Glowing Skin

Yet, for many of us, the stress of everyday life, pollution, harmful UV rays and a lack of sleep always seem to leave our skin looking lacklustre. 1. Stay hydrated

Hydration is the golden ingredient to looking younger and healthier. Without adequate hydration, your skin becomes drier and duller. Wrinkles are even accentuated. Plus, all of the toxins which naturally build up in our body aren’t flushed out of our system.

Instead, drink plenty of water. Many of us mistakenly think we get enough hydration, but coffee and tea aren’t a substitute for the real deal.

2. Keep out the sun

After a busy week, a drink with some friends is a fun way to relax. But be careful how much alcohol you drink. Whilst alcohol makes us cut loose in the short-term, it’s also dehydrating our body and damaging our skin. In the days after heavy drinking, your skin will appear duller and drier.

During sleep, our body gets to work, repairing all the damage of the day. What’s true for the body is true for the skin—we’ve all seen the effects in the mirror. You go to bed tired and looking worse-for-wear, only to wake up refreshed and replenished.
